@sutircomed Well, those liberals call themselves liberals because calling yourself a communist in the 50s in the US, is like calling yourself a child molester. Modern liberals, since they can;t get everyone to revolt like they did in Russia, they have to evolve through democracy. And all those countries are democracies, though as much as I hate that word.

The communist regimes you mention have absolutely *nothing* to do with liberalism in Europe, Canada, and the U.S. They are much more like right-wing dictatorships. You can’t find any legit exs. so you are BSing.

Liberalism owes nothing to communism. For one thing, it is a good bit older. Its founders and most influential thinkers include people such as John Locke, Thomas Jefferson, Adam Smith, and John Stuart Mill.
