Suicide bombers are actually born more from poor economic conditions than they are religious zeal. Fanatic terrorist organization offer the martyr’s FAMILY money, and with the terrible conditions for most people in these countries, the amount the offer is staggering. Try to see it from their view; you have a family of six and their starving. Your death promises you glory in the after life and that your family will be taken care of while alive…
I will quote one of my instructors: “Shoot them in the head, twice. Some like to yell ‘freeze!’ afterwards.”
My opinion is that you watch a lot of fox news and cnn. We fund the types of people who come over and threaten us, with our tax dollars. But it goes deeper than this. Imagine this if you could: Your lands are occupied by another country, they bomb you, starve you, rape your women, torture your young men. Would you sit there and take it? No you would fight the giant trying to hurt your family.
This is how a terrorist is made, they are sick of being pushed around and this is why 911 happened. I cannot excuse people killing each other, we need to look at the bigger picture and fix it there.
America’s hands are not clean. If people could wake up to what is happening around the world, then we can fix the problem at hand. I am not scared of terrorist, i’m scared of a run away government wanting my freedoms.
