We, the Scary Arab clowns have been watching and waiting and washing while we wait and watch. We’ve seen not much change, not much happening, and frankly, not much worth commenting about.

However, we find this comment to be one of the more intelligent things we’ve seen on the internet in a few years:

Fewer deaths occurred in Hiroshima in August 1945 than in Port-au-Prince last week and more people will die there soon than in Rwanda in 1994. Yet the modern global world was unprepared for it, so busy were they with Terrorism, which has killed fewer people in the last thirty years than quarrelsome Americans with handguns in the last eight months. And yet we also see this:

As ABC first reported, a U.S. supplier of rifle scopes for the Army and Marine Corps has for several years now been inscribing citations to biblical verses from the New Testament on the scopes themselves, a practice the military denies any knowledge of, but which was apparently known within gun enthusiast circles.

We were also unhappy to see George W. Bush grinning on the TV this weekend as he told Americans to not send blankets to Haiti but instead to send cash. Why are Americans being asked to pay for this when their tax dollars pay for wars and government bailouts of war profiteers?
